When I was but young I was told
By a man so wise and old
That life was but a train passing by
And growing old myself I see
The reality of what he told me
Will I see God before I die

And waking up this morning I praise God for His restoring
I feel my soul has had it's rest am I to be to the test
Things of old made new and I see the world through different eyes.

My attitude is what I show
of the peace that God has instilled in me

Each night before I go to sleep I count my blessings not my sheep
If I should die before I wake than spread the word for all mans sake
Let the nations know of the mercy of the Lamb
